Read + Raise with Read•A•Thon!
Onoway Elementary School is excited to kick off our upcoming Read-A-Thon! We encourage parents and guardians to track their child’s reading time on their student’s page on Read-A-Thon, as students with the most reading minutes will have the chance to win some exciting prizes.
All donations are very much appreciated and will go directly into our school fundraising fund to support programs, activities, and resources for our students.
Prizes include:
• The top reader of the whole school will win a bike
• The class with the most reading minutes will win a pizza party
• The top reader in each class will earn the chance to throw a pie in Mr. Dickner’s face at the school assembly in February

Dine Out & Donate
Operation Education is a co-operative fundraising initiative that partners local schools with Boston Pizza restaurants in our community to earn cash back. Staff, students and families can dine at any participating Boston Pizza and help our school earn 5% cashback on the pre-tax total of submitted receipts.

Building A Better Tomorrow
We feel strongly that every child has a right to safe, inclusive physical activity while at school. At this time, the decade-old play structure designated for grades 1-3 is not accessible to all students. We ask that you join us in making our playground a safe place for our children of all abilities to play!

Take A Moment, Make A Change
Our local grocery store, Bigway Foods in Onoway, has partnered with our local schools to help us enrich the educational experiences of children in our community. To participate, all you have to do is drop your marked receipts in the fundraiser box after shopping!
